Meet Courtney!Â
Courtney is a mom, wife, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Mental Health and Wellness Coach focused on holistic healing of the mind, body, and spirit - specializing in burnout, Educator, and Entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience.
Courtney's journey to help others began long before her healthcare career. From a young age, she was the person friends and family relied on for comfort, support, and care… a natural nurturer with a genuine passion for helping others.
In 2000, she entered the nursing profession, working in various settings, where her heart for service only grew stronger. As the years went on, and she continued her education and climbed the corporate ladder in healthcare, she witnessed a troubling trend: corporate healthcare prioritizing profit over patients. It was a turning point that shaped her philosophy. Courtney knew she wanted to do things differently, taking a genuinely holistic approach that honors the mind, body, and spirit, and puts the person, not the profit, at the center of care.
After walking through her own healing journey and rediscovering what true wellness looks like, Courtney founded Change is an Opportunity for Success Mental Health & Wellness, LLC, and created her private one-on-one coaching program to help other women heal and recover from burnout holistically. Now, she helps other high-performing women break free from burnout and reclaim their energy, clarity, and peace of mind, without guilt. Coaching allows her to do the work she loves most: guiding women back to themselves in a way that honors their mind, body, spirit, and life. Her passion is helping others thrive again… because she knows exactly what it feels like not to.
It All Started When...
I was doing everything “right.” I had a fulfilling career in a nursing leadership position in corporate healthcare that I took pride in, and a family I loved more than anything. From the outside, it looked like I had it all together, but inside, I was slowly falling apart and felt like I was drowning.
I was mentally and physically exhausted, constantly tethered to my phone with emails, texts, and calls, especially during dinner, bedtime, or those rare moments I just wanted to exhale. I was constantly in response mode, operating like a machine, not a human. My mind raced with to-do lists as I lay awake night after night, desperate for rest that never came. I started snapping at my family for no real reason, just overwhelmed and overstimulated, with nothing left to give. I was feeling disconnected from the people I loved most, crying in the shower, and wondering how I ended up here. I was drowning in responsibilities with no lifeline in sight. I felt like a shell of myself. Exhausted. Irritable. On edge.
I became completely miserable in my job. I couldn’t enjoy my life, and yet I didn’t feel like I could stop. I told myself I just needed to push through, work harder, and keep it together. Deep down, I knew something was breaking, and it wasn’t just me; it was my joy, my energy, my sense of self, and my peace of mind. I had built a life on overachievement and overextension, and it was slowly costing me everything that mattered.
Â
But Then Everything Changed...
Â
My breaking point came one night after yet another emotional outburst at home, sparked by my irritability, overstimulation, and emotional exhaustion. I realized I didn’t even recognize myself anymore. That moment became the catalyst for change. I knew I couldn’t continue living this way… exhausted, resentful, and barely holding it together. I started by seeking support, doing deep personal work, researching burnout, and reevaluating what mattered most to me. I invested in therapy, coaching, and lab testing to better understand my body’s response to chronic stress. I created healthier routines, set firm boundaries at work, and most importantly, gave myself permission to prioritize my own well-being. Slowly, I started reclaiming my energy, joy, confidence, and most importantly, my peace of mind. My relationships improved, my health began to stabilize, and I began showing up as the woman, wife, and mother I knew I was meant to be.
Â
Now I'm able to help other women heal from burnout...
I get to do the work that lights me up, helping other high-achieving women finally break free from burnout and get back to being the amazing woman they were always meant to be. I created my private 1:1 coaching program to walk women through the healing process. With a powerful blend of mindset work, functional wellness strategies, and deep emotional support, I help my clients regain their energy, clarity, peace of mind, and sense of control over their lives.
Because I’ve been where YOU are, I know the guilt of wanting rest but feeling like YOU haven’t earned it. I know the weight of constantly showing up for everyone else while silently falling apart inside. I know the transformation that’s possible when YOU decide YOU'RE worth saving.
Through this journey, I’ve not only rebuilt my own life… I’ve created a path for other women to do the same. It’s the most meaningful work I’ve ever done!
Â
My family means everything to me
I value and appreciate spending time with my family! They are my biggest cheerleaders, my safe space, and the reason I do what I do. Whether it's laughs around the dinner table, family movie night, or juggling work and school drop-offs, they're at the center of it all!Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
I am a nurturer by nature
Whether it's caring for my family, supporting clients through their healing journeys, setting my students up for success, or checking in on family and friends, I naturally find joy in creating a safe space to help others feel seen, heard, and supported. Nurturing isn't just what I do, it's who I am!Â

Â
My favorite time of year is the fall
There's just something magical about it! The crisp air, the vibrant colors of the changing leaves, cozy sweaters, and the scent of cinnamon and bonfires instantly lift my mood. It's a season that feels like a deep breath, a chance to slow down, reflect, and reset before the new year. I also love our fall family traditions of vacations, celebrations, Sunday football, and snuggling up together in front of the fire!Â
Â
Â
I love nature and being outdoors
Whenever I can, I make it a point to get outside for fresh air, whether it's going for a walk, hiking, swimming, sitting on the beach, or taking in the sights. Something is grounding about the smell of fresh-cut grass, listening to the rumble of a good thunderstorm, or watching snow gently fall. Nature helps me reset, reconnect, and remember what truly matters!Â

Â
Peace of mind is priceless to me
I value calmness, clarity, and emotional balance. In a world that's constantly moving, protecting my inner peace helps me stay grounded and focused, enhancing both my personal and professional life!Â
